In pursuit of an affordable high standard of living for all;
within human and natural ecosystems alike.
Growing up in an unstable housing environment, unequal distribution of resources was something John Alexander Correa was exposed to at an early age. Having recognized the intrinsic value of nature as a place of solace as a child, Correa has sought discovering ecologically sensitive solutions to mitigate social injustice.

Holding a Master of Architecture degree from Florida International University and being a LEED Green Associate, Correa's goal is to foster equitable – resilient - communities within natural and built ecosystems alike as a placemaker and public policy advocate. To fulfill said goal, Correa employs a multidisciplinary analytical process including mapping disparity at the regional scale, employing local participatory design methods, and ecological & environmental performance optimization.

Correa has regularly participated in local community and professional organizations focusing on addressing racial disparity, climate change, and even simply those related to outdoor recreation. Since graduation, Correa has begun preparation for architecture licensure gaining technical design experience while exploring opportunities to further cultivate his knowledge in sustainable construction practices and public policymaking.
