Developed through the utilization of Synthetic Biology, the theoretical project explores the means of gene manipulation to establish an inhabitable organism that feeds into the anthropogenic and natural ecology.
The projects primarily explores three methods of growth and takes precedent from an assortment of organismal adaptations. The primary reference has been the growth process of periphyton (aggregation) and the means periphyton binds sediments in the water (promoting clarity) and in the process aerates its surroundings. These conditions were found to be favorable interventions to be introduced to Biscayne Bay.
